Call for 2024 CDN Meeting Presentations

The planning for the 2024 Conservation Drainage Network Annual Meeting is well underway. It is scheduled to be held in Columbus, OH on April 3-4, 2024 with an optional field trip on April 5, 2024.

We are looking for both oral and poster presentations related to conservation drainage research or implementation, including success stories for implementation of conservation drainage practices. Please let us know your presentation title and preferred presentation format by filling in this Google form by January 10, 2024 please: https://forms.gle/iWypCbUAe2qx36D49

For oral presentations, we are looking for the following topics:
–              Conservation Drainage – Open session for conservation drainage research or implementation.

–              5-min Rapid Session* (presentations are max 5 minutes long): Examples of successful implementation of conservation practices.
–              State Station Reports (from NCERA-217 members).

For poster presentations, we are looking for all topics related to Conservation Drainage. We encourage students to present their ongoing or recently completed work as posters. The Annual Meeting is a great place to discuss your work with colleagues working with drainage.

*The format is open. Presentation software such as power point may be used but is not required. Five minutes go by fast. Presenters can assume the audience has some understanding of the topic and it is common to skip the intro and only briefly talk about methods. Spend time on results and discussion. Pick 1 or 2 main points you want to make.

Questions, please contact Jeppe “Yebbe” Kjaersgaard jeppe.kjaersgaard@state.mn.us
